Gas heater / cooler
Gas heaters and coolers are heat exchangers specially designed for the task of heating or cooling various gases under low pressure or under vacuum.
For example:
– for heating the regeneration gas in front of the adsorber;
– for cooling protective gases during annealing or quenching;
– for cooling compressible gases between compressor stages, etc.
Description and design
The apparatus consists of a welded body with a heat exchange surface inside. The heat exchange surface can be made of flat ribbed sheets, corrugated sheets, smooth or finned heat exchange tubes. The fittings and supports are designed taking into account the reference to a specific place of operation. The design provides access to the internal devices of the device for cleaning, maintenance and repair.
